Surf LT is a specialized surf travel agency headquartered in the heart of Byron Bay, Australia.
Founder and Leading our team is Guillermo, 33, with a background in
Sports Sciences-Nutrition & Health and a Master’s in Education.
Guillermo is a Certified Surf Coach, Physical Education and Sports, Exercise & Health Science teacher with over 10 years of surf coaching experience
in more than 30 surf schools and camps in every corner of the globe.
His way of navigating life for the last decade? Travel the world while working, surfing, and searching for adventures.
Surf LT was born to bridge the gap between a “touristic trip” or a “surf camp” and a “true surfer’s adventure”: a magic experience that we share with those ready to experience it.
THE CHALLENGE
Mediocrity in the industry
Let’s be honest: most travel agencies and surf schools don’t care about you having a high quality experience, they are just chasing your wallet and giving you a poor or minimum service in exchange.
As a surfers, we find this disrespectful towards our sport and lifestyle.
Also, organizing a surf trip or adventure takes lots of time and doesn’t always go as well as planned when you do it on your own.
Both ways usually lead to some mistakes or inevitable situations that we all have observed or experienced:
- over crowded spots & high student-coach ratios on lessons
- non-certified or unexperienced coaches

At Surf LT, was created from the need to do it right and give
access to a real adventure, which is hard nowadays, to those
ready to experience it.

Since we started, we are constantly supporting humanitarian & enviromental non-profit projects.
We currently run a surf program:
“Funsurf LT”, for people with functional diversity, in Spain & Mexico.
We also support activists communities that fight
against coastline privatizations.
To achieve this, part of our team is involved in the causes but
we also destinate 10% of our profits.
